Do Not Drink Alcohol … Bet

[ English | Deutsch | Español | Français | Italiano ]

If you prefer to take a drink every so often, keep your money at home if you intend to do your drinking in a brick and mortar casino. I’m not joking. Empty your pocketbook, your wallet, and keep all money, credit cards and checks at home. Take whatever cash you are planning to use on drinks, tipping and whatever loose coins you plan on loosing and keep the rest behind.

Cynical? Not at all. Practical more like. You might well experience a win after a drunken evening out with your buddies and be lucky enough to hit a marathon roll at a smokin’ craps table. Hold on to that account because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you constantly drink and gamble. The 2 simply don’t mix.

Leaving your cash at home is a bit excessive, but defensive actions for drastic behavior is relative and necessary. If you bet to succeed, then don’t consume alcohol and play. If you can manage to throw away your cash without a second thought, then consume all the free alcohol your belly can handle, but do not take debit cards and chequebooks to toss into the combination of chasing losses once your drunk as a skunk brain throws away all the cash!
