If you’re hoping for excitement, boisterousness and more fun than you can with stand, then craps is the game to play.
Craps is a fast-paced game with whales, budget gamblers, and everyone in between. If you’re a person-watcher this is one casino game that you will love to study. There’s the high roller, buying in with a large bankroll and making boisterous declarations when he wagers across the board, "five hundred and twenty dollars across," you’ll hear the whale exclaim. He’s the player to observe at this table and he understands it. They’ll either win big or don’t win big and there is no in the middle.
There is the budget gambler, possibly trying to acquaint himself with the whales. He’ll tell the other gamblers of books he’s read on dice positioning and hang around the hottest shooter at the craps table, prepared to talk and "pick each others brains".
My preferred players at the craps table are the real gentlemen from the old times. These senior gentlemen are ordinarily steadfast, generally gentle and will almost always offer tricks from the "good ole days."
There are many other characters that you’ll find around a packed Craps table. When you take the plunge and intend to participate in the game, make sure you utilize correct behavior. Find a place on the rail and lay your money in front of you in the "come" spot. Never do this when the dice are in motion or you’ll become known as the last character I am going to mention, the jerk.
